A bridge along the Ann–Kasu Koing road in Rakhine State has collapsed following heavy rainfall, disrupting travel for local residents.

The damaged bridge is a frequently used route for people traveling between Ann and Kasu Koing. Local residents said travelers have been forced to carry their motorcycles across difficult terrain and use forest trails to bypass the damaged section.

A local resident who recently visited the area said the road and bridge remain difficult to pass.

The Arakan Army is currently carrying out repairs on the damaged bridge and road section. However, the repair work is expected to take at least two weeks to complete, according to local sources.

Residents have advised travelers to expect difficulties and delays when using the Ann–Kasu Koing road until the repairs are completed.
