Residents living in coastal areas of Gwa and Thandwe townships in southern Rakhine State have been ordered by the Arakan Army (AA) to evacuate urgently following simultaneous attacks by Myanmar military naval forces on coastal villages, according to local sources.
“Residents in coastal wards were warned about five days ago to relocate, and we are now moving,” a resident from a coastal area in Thandwe Township told Lay Waddy FM.
